Exploring Bruno Disability Scooters For Individuals Who Can’t Walk
Dec 27th
Quite a few mobility scooter suppliers are looked upon as reliable. Individuals in the position of getting to rely on a mobility scooter usually end up with one of the elite brand names, because they last well and can be depended upon. They have been operating long enough to possess a proven reputation, such as Bruno mobility scooters.
Their unique scooters available to be purchased on the open market, are some of the most trusted scooters. They have been especially designed for disabled people who find it hard to get from one place to another. This of course is the reason why mobility scooters can be found in the first place. Take a someone who has suffered severe foot injuries, who may be unable to walk for quite a while during the healing process, and for whom a Bruno mobility scooter may be the answer to a prayer in terms of getting from place to place. Lots of people would favor a Bruno scooter to the other alternative of a wheelchair, because of its superior speed and convenience.
Stress can certainly obstruct and delay healing after an injury, so it’s advisable to stay as stress-free as possible. So as to not conflict with the healing process, injured people should be transported in such a manner that they are comfortable and not subject to any strain or stress. They are already despondent, not having the ability to walk, so there is no reason to make it worse, and cause more depression. People who are heavy can also make the most of using a Bruno mobility scooter. Being very overweight places a lot of stress on the skeleton, which it was not designed for. Even while going through weight-loss therapy, using a mobility scooter for getting around will help minimize the risk of injury through undue stress being paced on the bone structure.
Losing weight may take time, so having a Bruno scooter around is often useful. It can be bought in used or new condition, depending on your finances. In cases where an individual is still able to walk, although with challenges, care must be taken to never develop a dependency on a mobility scooter. A Bruno scooter can be exactly the thing for getting people who are disinterested to again engage in life. Just getting out in the fresh air by riding the scooter around the block, will do a person who has been trapped inside, a world of good.
Riding the personal mobility scooter down to a neighborhood store, will offer the person a reason to fe el useful again, and a mobility scooter works much more comfortably than a wheelchair. You will find also a lot more self-respect with someone on a scooter rather than being in a wheelchair. Bruno movability scooters, by dint of their warranted reputation, must feature on your list of brands to be researched.

I had only one bad experience ordering this; the battery was from a rare defective batch and it took over a month to get a replacement since they are rare lithium ion batteries from China. However the battery it came with worked long enough for me to get a feel for it and it’s an amazing little machine. It’s bigger than it looks in the picture, sturdier than I expected but requires more assembly than I had hoped. Be ready to read the manual thoroughly.
The battery capacity is *amazing*. I rode it to campus and back, to downtown and back and then to a friend’s, all on the low charge that it came with. If you need real range, you’ll want something with lithium ion batteries. I have a lead acid battery powered bicycle and the range is only 15 miles. This thing really goes an honest 40 miles which is rare because most companies overestimate range, but the company that makes this thing actually gave too low of an estimate.
The next step up from this would be actual highway rated scooters that go 50-60mph, and the jump in price is sixfold. You can expect to pay 5,000-6,000 for an electric moped capable of highway speeds with a 90 mile range. The extra performance would be nice (you’ve got to drive this thing in the bicycle lane) but the sudden leap in cost isn’t worth it. Not when you can get a great motorcycle or decent econo-box for that kind of money.
Anyway the replacement battery will (finally!) arrive tomorrow. I got it because the guys at Electric Vehicle Mall are really great about returns. It’ll cost you the same there as it will here, since the $300 price difference is only due to Amazon including the shipping cost in with the regular price, so take your pick. Either way, this is the moped to buy.

Elite Razor Electric Scooter – E175 kids e-bike Review

This is a very well made scooter, almost worked out of the box, we just received it 4 days ago and my son is enjoying it already. The specs says it runs for 40 minutes but it can run longer than that, battery charge does not seem to take 12 hours either(until the light on the charger turns green). One thing i did not like about it is that the plastic protective cover for the chain is so close to the ground that is almost impossible to make right turns without the thing touching the floor, not really sure how this did not come up during testing stages, this is obviously a design error, other than that it just works perfect.
This scooter was a Christmas gift for my son. He loves it! The only reason I did not give 5 stars is because of the short time we’ve had it and I will leave another review after a few months. Over all it was easy to put together, the charge last atleast 30min or more, and its fast. Made for a great gift for the price.

I am very happy with the scooter except that it lacks power to go up even small hills without overheating (so that you have to push it, let it cool, then press the reset button after a few minutes). It cannot operate 45 minutes continuously as claimed, more like 25 minutes, and has a much more limited range than the inferred 7.5 miles (45 minutes at 10 mph), more like 3 miles. It is fast and fun, but does not have the range and power I expected. It is basically good for level places unless you are willing to push it up hills.
I have really enjoyed riding this scooter to work which is one mile away. I take back roads since this vehicle is not allowed on public sidewalks or streets. I always walk it across the main busy street.
The scooter works as advertised. It has good pick-up on flats. It seems to stuggle just a little on any incline. I’m 154 lbs. Everyone who has ridden it has loved it. The chain drive is relatively quiet. It has great gas mileage…like none. I haven’t ridden it straight to see how long the battery would last. I’ve been able to get back and forth to work twice (1 mile each way) before I noticed a decrease in power. However, the low battery light didn’t come on so I’m not sure if the power decline was because I was going up-hill.
One thing that is hokey is that you cannot lock the handle in the down position. A screw unlocks it so you can fold it down, but it is not convenient to carry since there is no way to lock it down. bad design.
Also, the paperwork says the battery is good for about 250-300 charges. This might be less than two year’s worth of travel to/from work for me. I haven’t looked up the price of a new battery.
The only other thing that I’ve noticed is that the scooter has a strong smell of motor oil after riding it. I have to store it in the hallway during the day because it made my office smell like an old oily garage. I also notice the smell when transporting it in my car. I think it is the oil for the chain, but haven’t investigated it.

I enjoyed fast service and mint condition of product when it arrived. Product itself was not as described. Sparks were not as awesome as I thought they should be and the cartridges were used up faster than I expected. Also you can get a 2pk at Target for $10 and online the price is $20 plus shipping.
I like the scooter itself, the wheels seem more efficient with smoother ride than other scooters I have tried, but I don’t think the “Sparks” aspect was really worth the $20 more I paid for it.
I purchased this for my grandson because he seemed to be excited about the TV commercial. Flames high behind the kid. I helped him put it together and we went out to see for ourselves. Wow, what a disappointment. He could have drug a chain behind him and achieved the same result. He played on it for less than 20 minutes and came in to tell me the “sparks” were gone. Sure enough, no sparks and time to change the sparkler box. I called about this and was told that if you use the brakes, the box will wear down quickly. Ahh, within 20 minutes? No, this was unacceptable. I sent it back and purchased a regular Razor scooter from a local dealer at a much lower price and no sparkler replacement to be purchased. My issue is not with the scooter itself just the ripoff gimmick of the sparks. The scooter is great and my grandson enjoys it a lot. I am saying–don’t waste your money on the sparkler part. I notice there are no more ads for it lately. Does that say it for me?

THE XB-420M IS FUN TO DRIVE.IT’S LARGER THAN MOST MOBILITY SCOOTERS YOU SEE RUNNING
AROUND.NOT VERY PRACTICAL IN THE HOUSE,WORKS WELL OUTDOORS & I EVEN DO A LITTLE OFF
ROAD RUNNING AS LONG AS ITS MOSTLY FLAT.GREAT IN THE MALL,AMUSEMENT PARK ECT.
I AM A LITTLE CONCERNED ABOUT FINDING PARTS AS NEEDED,BEEN LOOKING ON LINE & THERE
IS NOT MUCH THERE.
I HAVE HAD THE SCOOTER ABOUT A YEAR NO PROBLEMS YET,BUT I KNOW SOMEDAY I’LL HAVE
TO CHANGE OUT THE BATTERIES @$250+,AND TIRES WILL NEED TO BE REPLACED 16X2.50 IS NOT
A VERY COMMON SIZE.
I WEIGH CLOSE TO 300LBS AND THE SCOOTER DOES WELL RUNNING ME AROUND @ 14MPH,I RUN
2 HOURS ON A CHARGE,MANUFACTURE SAYS DON’T RUN THE BATTERIES DOWN COMPLETELY,
IT CHARGES BACK IN 3-4 HOURS FROM 1/2 DISCHARE, SHOULD TAKE 1000+ CHARGES BEFORE REPLACEMENT OF BATTERIES IS NEEDED.
I bought this scooter as a retirement present to myself after extensive online research, and so far I am very happy with it. It certainly does elicit many favorable comments and it’s a lot of fun to ride. The cost is very competitive – it looks like a more expensive scooter. It’s a mobility scooter with the “wow” factor! Very solid and substantial to ride, but not that difficult to maneuver when pushing it, such as positioning it in the garage. So far I can’t think of anything I’d change about it.
